Beautiful home, on a private lot, with an unbelievable view. You will not be disappointed. We stayed at the Day Hike because we are planning to build a very similar home and wanted to "live" in the floor plan for a few days. It is fantastic. A couple of notes: > Bring everything you need for preparing meals, it's a bit of a drive into town if you don't have what you need. There is a great wine shop in town worth stopping at to stock up for your stay. > Both outside fireplaces are wood burning...you'll need to bring your own wood and fire starter. The inside fireplace is gas. > There is trail access from the end of the driveway. While the property is very private, you will see the occasional hiker pass by along the hill behind the home.

We had such a wonderful weekend girls trip at Higher Ground. The home was lovely and the surroundings were peaceful. Our cars were all able to make it up the steep gravel road, but it did get quite bumpy at the top and the driveway wasnt totally clear with all the freshly fallen leaves. We had a great time at the Blue Ridge cabin Encanto. It was a wonderful birthday celebration weekend made even better by the amenities. The changing leaves put on quite a show for us too! The annual friends trip here was amazing. Perfect place to stay, no need to leave the cabin. We had the best time here enjoying the view and the quiet. Cabin Unwined is a repeat for sure.

Nothing like the N GA Blue Ridge Mountains in October. Our favorites U.S. golf course, Old Toccoa Farm, only 5 minutes away and Old Union GC in Blairsville ((30 mins) is also a terrific track. Plenty to do and see in Blue Ridge (restaurants, shopping etc.) and the Bavarian Village of Helen, GA an hour away with Octoberfest going on now. The cabin was excellent with SAT TV to handle football requirements, our dog enjoyed the big yard and creek. Beds were spacious and comfortable. Communicating with the property management company was a breeze, they are quick to respond. Know that you will have to sign a rental agreement through Willow Creek Properties as well but it was easy and seamless.
